3D Objects Painter helps students explore the features of 3D objects. They choose a shape, then paint its faces, edges and corners while a live counter shows how many of each they have coloured.

How to use it
Choose a 3D object.
Pick Paint mode and drag on the shape to colour faces, edges or corners.
Switch to Rotate to turn the shape and find hidden parts.
Check the counter to see how many faces, edges and corners there are.
Teaching tips
Have real 3D objects to hold and compare.
Ask students to predict how many faces a shape has before painting.
Use with Prism Sort to talk about which objects are prisms.
