About this tool

Class Roll Marking turns taking the roll into a quick, fun routine. Each student has their own icon, and they tap it to mark themselves present, with sounds, themes and a progress bar that fills up as the class arrives.

Best for: All primary classes (teacher tool)

How to use it

1. Type your class list, one name per line.
2. Choose an icon theme, font and sort order from the header.
3. Students tap their icon as they arrive, or you tap as you call the roll.
4. Use Undo if someone is marked by mistake, and Reset for a new day.

Teaching tips

• Let students mark themselves in as part of the morning routine to build independence.
• Choose a reading-friendly font like Andika or Lexend for early readers.
• Use the progress bar to count how many are here and how many are away.
