About this game

Find My Spot is a visual perception game. Each card shows a round close-up of one small part of a colourful shape picture. Students study the colours and edges on the card, then slide a white viewfinder with an empty circle over the big picture until the view through the circle matches the card. It builds visual discrimination, figure-ground skills and part-to-whole thinking.

Best for: Foundation to Year 2, and older students working on visual perception goals

How to play

  1. Choose Big, Medium or Tiny Spots.
  2. Look closely at the card: which colours are there, and where do they meet?
  3. Drag the white viewfinder onto the picture and look through the empty circle.
  4. Slide it around until the view through the circle matches the card, then let go.
  5. If it doesn't match, keep sliding. Find every spot to finish the picture.
