About this tool

Jump, Jump, Jump practises quick, accurate eye jumps between targets, the same kind of eye movement used when reading from word to word. A lily pad lights up and students jump their eyes there and tap it before it hops away.

Best for: Foundation to Year 4

How to use it

1. Choose Easy, Medium or Hard.
2. Press Start.
3. When a spot lights up, look at it and tap it quickly.
4. Check your hits and average speed at the end of 15 jumps.

• Encourage accuracy first, then speed.
• Use it as a quick brain break between reading activities.
