🌈 Rainbow Radial

About this tool

Rainbow Radial Timer shows rings of colour that sweep away in a circle as the countdown runs. It is bright and easy to read from anywhere in the room.

Best for: All primary classes (teacher tool)

How to use it

1. Set the countdown time.
2. Choose a colour theme such as rainbow, ocean or meadow.
3. Start the timer.
4. Watch the rings sweep away as time runs out.

Teaching tips

• Use it for group rotations so everyone can see when it is time to move.
• Link to fractions: the circle is half gone, a quarter is left.
• Pick calmer themes for quiet work and brighter ones for games.
